John Cena vs. Logan Paul is a matchup designed to attract attention as The Never-Seen Seventeen and The Maverick connect different generations of what it means to be a WWE Superstar. After a disappointing SummerSlam for Cena, The Social Media Megastar challenged him during the following SmackDown. A fight between Cena, Paul, Drew McIntyre, and Cody Rhodes led to a tag team match. It ended with Paul being disqualified for delivering a painful low blow to Cena. Cena is one of the most important Superstars in WWE history. He has built a legacy on hard work, loyalty, and respect. He has set a high standard in the ring with his unmatched 17 world championship reigns. Outside the ring, he has broken records by granting a remarkable number of Make-A-Wish wishes. Then there’s Paul, whose bold style and flair for controversy keep him in the spotlight. Despite his trash-talking, he has proven himself in the ring. Paul has already beaten AJ Styles, Rey Mysterio, Kevin Owens, The Miz, and others in his brief career. However, a win over Cena would be the biggest achievement for The Maverick as he rises in WWE.

After cashing in his Money in the Bank contract, Seth Rollins captured the World Heavyweight Title from CM Punk in what many are calling “The Ruse of the Century.” Now, Rollins will defend the championship against Punk, Jey Uso, and LA Knight in a Fatal 4-Way Match. Moments after Punk defeated Gunther to claim the World Heavyweight Title at SummerSlam, a seemingly injured Rollins dropped his crutches, cashed in his contract, and stole the title from Punk. Along with The Second City Saint, Rollins and his allies Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed have gathered many enemies. This includes another former World Heavyweight Champion, Uso, and former United States Champion Knight.

Roman Reigns will face Bronson Reed at WWE Clash in Paris. Since clashing with Seth Rollins’ new Vision faction, The Big Dog has found himself at odds with a new rival in the dangerous Reed. On two occasions, Reed has taken down Reigns and added insult to injury by stealing his sneakers. Bullying The OTC, the massive Superstar has called himself “The Tribal Thief” and has promised to keep tormenting his opponent. Reigns ignored all warnings and fought back on the Aug. 18 edition of Raw to confront Reed once again.

At WWE Clash in Paris, Sheamus faces Rusev in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match. Soon after Rusev came back to WWE, he and The Celtic Warrior started fighting in a series of tough matches and chaotic brawls. Following several backstage clashes, Raw General Manager Adam Pearce tried to bring order by announcing a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match.

The Women’s Intercontinental Championship will be at stake when WWE Hall of Famer Nikki Bella faces Becky Lynch. Lynch has been on a roll since taking the title from Lyra Valkyria. However, her post-match attacks and harsh insults have angered Bella. The WWE Hall of Famer took the mic in England and issued a challenge, which Lynch accepted. This sets the stage for an exciting match.
